* About Department:

The Department of Commerce was established in the year 2002 with 01 temporary full time teacher and 19 students.  Over a period of 20 years, the department has grown from strength to strength and now has 3 permanent full time and 2 CHB teachers with 359 students. Out of the 5 staff members, 2 has obtained PhD Degree, 1 is pursuing Ph.D. 3 faculty members are SET qualified. The department has organized several workshops, seminars, competitions, the faculty of the department consistently encourages the students to participate in sports, NSS and other extracurricular activities. The department adopted and made use of the Information Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching techniques effectively.

• To introduce Career oriented courses.
• To undertake co-curricular and consultancy activities.
• To adopt latest educational technology such as use of ICT.
• To adopt appropriate methods of assessment and evaluation of performance of learners.
• To improve soft skills to bring about balanced personality development of the learners.
